Position: Senior Sales Manager


Location: This role will Base in India (and can be open to discuss as for which region in India based on candidate’s situation)


Major Products: API Transfer System for Pharmaceutical Equipment or Aseptic API Transfer System


Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager – API Transfer System equipment to drive sales growth across the Biotech, Biopharma, Vaccine, and CDMO sectors. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in biotechnology solution sales with strong exposure to Upstream and Downstream bioprocess systems.
  • The candidate need to have hands-on understanding of API Transfer System equipment (e.g., from a Reactor to a Centrifuge, or a Dryer to a Packaging line, containment solutions, containment isolators, Booths & Hoods, Aseptic Isolators, etc.)


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Lead sales of Upstream & Downstream API Transfer System equipment (e.g., from a Reactor to a Centrifuge, or a Dryer to a Packaging line, containment solutions, containment isolators, Booths & Hoods, Aseptic Isolators, etc.)
  • Achieve sales targets for the Hyderabad and South India biotech region.
  • Identify new business opportunities across Biopharma, Biosimilars, Vaccines, CGT, CDMOs, and Research Institutes.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, technical discussions, proposals, and deal closure.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.

Customer & Market Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, technical workshops, demos, and presentations.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and technology updates.

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, project updates, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with service, marketing, and project teams for end-to-end customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in API Transfer System equipment sales.
  • Strong hands-on experience in API Transfer System for Pharmaceutical Equipment or Aseptic API Transfer System.
  • Proven sales success in the Pharmaceutical Equipment/Biotech/Biopharma sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Frequent travel is a must.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
