Senior Quantity Surveyor – Measurement & BOQ

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in measurement and BOQ preparation to lead quantity take-offs and support tendering activities. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Prepare, review, and validate measurement sheets and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Ensure compliance with measurement standards (POMI, CESMM, or equivalent)
• Interpret complex drawings and ensure scope alignment with project requirements
• Oversee and guide junior QS team members in measurement tasks
• Support tendering teams with accurate quantity inputs and clarifications
• Coordinate with design, planning, and project teams
• Maintain strict quality control and documentation standards

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in measurement, BOQ preparation, and tendering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift/Bluebeam, and MS Office
• Deep understanding of construction methods and specifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced tender environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying

Experience

• 6–10+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in leading measurement and BOQ functions
