Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, Gaming

Experience (typically 10+ years) in software development and/or SDET roles, including substantial experience building automation solutions for gaming is REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Define, deliver, and drive adoption of scalable automation solutions to help us deliver better games, faster.
• Develop and maintain robust E2E automated test suites integrated in CI/CD for different game genres across multiple platforms (i.e., cloud, mobile, web)
• Define and maintain coding standards, guidelines, and best practices for automated tests
• Define automation KPI and operational health metric to deliver quality solutions that perform well and deliver business value
• Advocate for testability and automation-friendly design in systems and features
• Partner with engineering leaders on test strategy, technology choices, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor QA engineers and developers on automation strategy, implementation, and best practices
• Evaluate, prototype, and champion new testing technologies and practices to continuously evolve our automation solutions.

Requirements

• Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in software development and/or SDET roles, including substantial experience building automation solutions for games.
• Experience with mobile, web, and game engines is required
• Strong programming skills and solid knowledge of software design, patterns, and computer science fundamentals, demonstrated through hands-on experience with C#,
• Java, or similar object-oriented languages. Familiarity with modern game engine test frameworks is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technical projects from concept to deployment
• and operations.
• Experience with modern mobile and cloud-based applications, services, and infrastructure.
• Understanding of software testing principles, test automation strategies, and QA best practices.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, system design, and coaching skills, with experience mentoring engineers and driving large-scale technical initiatives.
