Senior Python Django Developer

Labor Solutions’ flagship product is WOVO, a mobile phone-based worker voice and worker wellbeing tool with more than 1.5 million users and availability in 25 countries and 19 languages. 

Our client base is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a qualified Senior Python Django Developer (4+) to join our Tech Team. In this role you will be working remotely with the architect and senior developers to develop the user stories as per the product roadmap. You will also be maintaining the product from a development perspective. 

What you will be doing:

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solution 

Who we are looking for:

• Practical knowledge and understanding of web applications.
• 3+ years of good hands-on experience in Python, with knowledge of Django
• Good hands-on experience in SQL Database (MYSQL / Postgres)
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools GIT.
• Has experience of working in Agile Environment. Fluent in English (written and oral) Fluency in a second language is preferred.
• Comfortable working remotely with great communication skills for remote work environment.
• Knowledge on AWS is an added advantage
