Senior Production Engineer

Role Description The Senior Production Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production activities for TNT Global’s household product lines. This role includes planning and organizing production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that manufacturing processes align with design specifications and quality standards. The Senior Production Engineer will monitor production performance, identify process bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain consistent output. Daily responsibilities include supervising shop-floor operations, enforcing safety and compliance procedures, reviewing production data, and supporting technical troubleshooting. The role also involves collaborating closely with design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure that products meet customer expectations and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Production Engineering and practical experience in manufacturing or consumer goods environments.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting production data, troubleshooting issues, and driving process optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Production Planning, including resource allocation, capacity planning, and workflow scheduling.
• Proficiency in Quality Control practices, standards, and tools to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, reporting to leadership, and guiding production staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading or mentoring production teams, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with ERP or production management systems and basic knowledge of lean manufacturing or similar methodologies.
