Senior Operations Manager

Michelman is seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to lead the full operational performance of our Cincinnati manufacturing site. This role oversees Production and Maintenance, serving as a key partner to the Site Leader and Plant Leadership Team to translate strategy into execution and build sustainable operational performance.

This is a senior-level role requiring a proven leader who can drive results at scale, develop strong leadership teams, and operate effectively in a regulated specialty chemical environment (PSM, OSHA 1910, GMP).

What You’ll Do

• Own site performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost
• Lead and develop Production and Maintenance leadership teams
• Translate business strategy into operational execution plans
• Manage budgets, capital planning, and cost performance
• Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and operational integrity
• Partner cross-functionally across Quality, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, and HR
• Drive continuous improvement, reliability, and digital adoption
• Champion safety, quality, and leadership culture

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in regulated manufacturing environments (chemical, pharma, food, etc.)
• 5+ years leading multiple teams/functions with budget ownership
• Strong expertise in PSM, GMP, OSHA, and operational excellence practices
• Proven ability to develop leaders, manage complexity, and drive performance

• Schedule: Monday–Friday (flexibility required)
• Location: Cincinnati, OH
