Senior Manager Network Planning - Gurugram (m/f/d)

We're looking for a motivated and driven Senior Network Planning Manager who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Network Planning Department - the architect of our business, designing the bus route network, allocate bus types, manage timetables, and drive efficiencies in close collaboration with commercial functions, business development and operations teams.

Based in Gurugram, India, you will join our Network Planning team, responsible for India region. You and the team will optimize the supply of bus lines to meet the travel demand of our customers in the India market.

About The Role

• Plan our FlixBus lines in collaboration with our business partners, revenue management, commercials, and our experienced local teams to develop our network
• Coordinate the interactions on your allocated line portfolio with the other teams to ensure smooth processes (e.g. line starts and operational requests)
• Communicate with our business partners to handle our operative demand
• Plan a robust and scalable bus network that meets profitability targets by analysing costs and revenues
• Conduct a quantitative analysis and derive conclusions from various data sets to make informed decisions
• Present ideas as well as figures in an informative and relevant way to update your team and stakeholders
• Support in implementing network strategies to meet the needs of the India market
• Mentor and train Interns and Junior Network Planners.
  
  

About You

• Master’s degree in business administration, supply chain, transportation, engineering mathematics, geography, urban planning, economics or in a related field of study
• 4–6 years of relevant working experience in project management, network planning, or similar roles, particularly within fast-paced, business-focused environments
• Socio-geographical knowledge of the transport market in India is a strong plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, driving them from inception to completion with a strong end-to-end project management mindset
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, network planning, or similar roles, particularly within fast-paced, business-focused environments
• Strong analytical skills and modelling abilities to solve complex problems in a rational way, as well as strong project management skills
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams to bring out the best in the people around you, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, adaptable to both face-to-face and remote meetings, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive, hands-on attitude
• Based in Gurugram, with willingness and ability to travel to our other offices on need bases
