Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager to lead our Invoice Operations team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will replace Chayanika Dutta (who retires in Mar’26) to oversee invoice processing, manage day-to-day operations, and drive process improvements to ensure timely loading of invoices.
The Senior Manager, Invoice Processing, is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the high-volume, end-to-end process of receiving vendor invoices, extracting detailed data, and ensuring accurate, timely loading into our Cost Management Solution (CMS). This role requires exceptional operational leadership, a strong focus on data quality, and expertise in automation technologies within a service delivery environment.
Qualifications:
Academic Criteria: Minimum Education – Graduate Degree; Preferred Education – MBA or a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Responsibilities:

This role requires exceptional operational leadership, a strong focus on data quality, and expertise in automation technologies within a service delivery environment.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in high-volume Operations, Data Processing, or Shared Services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a large team.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential for concise, effective reporting and presentation of complex operational results, challenges, and strategic proposals.
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaderships, ensuring strategic alignment of local operations with global company policies, reporting standards, and technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities:
- Service & Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-volume operations team of over 50 professionals responsible for invoice intake, validation, and data loading.
- Establish and manage robust processes to meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for data extraction accuracy and CMS loading timelines.
- Drive talent development, performance management to ensure continuous operational coverage.
- Data Automation & Optimization:
- Oversee the effective use of Invoice Automation technologies (e.g., OCR, Intelligent Document Processing) tailored for large and complex invoices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the straight-through processing rate and reduce manual data handling.
- Ensure the integrity and standardization of extracted data across various vendor formats before loading into the CMS.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Utilize operational data to report on team efficiency, throughput, error rates, and key operational metrics to senior management and clients.
- Apply working knowledge of analytical SQL to query processing databases for root cause analysis, data validation, and trend identification.
