Role Description The Senior Manager Business Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for driving growth and expanding Ovation Services’ engineering services portfolio. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients, and building a robust pipeline across key industries and geographies. The Senior Manager will collaborate with leadership and technical teams to understand service capabilities, prepare compelling proposals, and participate in client presentations and negotiations. Day-to-day activities include market research, account planning, revenue forecasting, tracking performance against targets, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and inquiries. The role also requires regular reporting on business development activities and contributing to strategic initiatives that strengthen Ovation Services’ market presence.
Qualifications
  • Business development and sales skills, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and client relationship management.
  • Strategic planning and market analysis capabilities to assess industry trends and develop growth strategies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in engineering services, structural steel, construction, or related sectors, with understanding of project lifecycles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and business growth targets in a managerial or senior role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate across global teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and standard business reporting practices.
