Senior Manager Accounts

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager Accounts to lead our accounting department. The Senior Manager Accounts will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. The successful candidate will manage a team of accountants, drive process improvements, and provide critical financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Manage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, working closely with various departments.
• Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during annual audits.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations for consolidated financial reporting.
• Oversee fixed asset management and inventory accounting processes.
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new accounting software or systems as required.
