Role Description This is a full-time Senior Judo Coach role in a hybrid arrangement, based in Bahadurgarh with some work-from-home flexibility for planning and administrative tasks. The Senior Judo Coach will design and deliver daily training sessions, focusing on technical skill development, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental preparation. Responsibilities include mentoring athletes, preparing them for competitions, analyzing performance, and adjusting training plans accordingly. The coach will also oversee junior coaches, maintain safety and discipline on the mat, and coordinate with management on schedules, selection, and progression pathways. Additional duties include maintaining training records, communicating with athletes and families, and staying updated with current judo coaching methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in judo techniques, competition rules, and training methodologies, with experience coaching at advanced or competitive levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan structured training programs, conduct performance assessments, and tailor sessions to diverse skill levels.
  • Skills in athlete mentorship, motivation, and communication, with a focus on creating a positive, inclusive training environment.
  • Knowledge of sports conditioning, injury prevention, and safe training practices relevant to judo.
  • Experience supervising or guiding junior coaches or support staff in a training or academy setting.
  • Relevant coaching certifications or licenses in judo from recognized bodies; national-level or higher credentials are an advantage.
  • Proven track record of preparing athletes for regional, national, or international competitions is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by training schedules and competitions.
