Location: Chennai

Type: Onsite, 5 days a week

The Opportunity

Join Neysa as a Software Development Engineer (SDE – I), where you will play a critical role in building secure, resilient, and high-performing applications that power AI-driven platforms. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and cloud teams to embed security across the development lifecycle and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.

What You'll Achieve In This Role

Design and implement secure full-stack applications with a strong focus on application security best practices.
Integrate security controls into web and service-layer architectures.
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across front-end, back-end, and API layers.
Strengthen DevSecOps practices through automation, secure CI/CD pipelines, and proactive risk mitigation.
Enhance system resilience, data protection, and compliance readiness across environments.

Roles And Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer, you will:

Develop and implement user-centric interfaces using modern UI frameworks and technologies.
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive web applications.
Build and maintain scalable and robust back-end services and APIs.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement features.
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Front-End: Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+). Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is essential. Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) is a plus.
Back-End: Solid understanding of server-side technologies and frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring, Node.js, Python/Django). Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) is required.
UI/UX: A strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. Experience with UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) is a plus.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git.
Testing: Experience with unit and integration testing and test driven development.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization
Experience with AI/ML playbook creations
Basic network concept awareness
Experience with Linux commands
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
