Finance Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst with strong experience in core accounting and financial analysis, who can act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for finance processes and systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in ERP implementation, strong stakeholder management skills, and exposure to finance products, supporting business decision-making and system transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform core accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and reconciliations
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for finance and accounting processes
Support and drive ERP implementation and enhancement projects, including requirement gathering, testing, and deployment
Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support business and management decisions
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with IT, business teams, and vendors during finance system implementations
Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives
Support finance product-related initiatives and system integrations
Core Skills & Expertise:
Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and practices
Hands-on experience with financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations
Proven Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in finance processes
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
Understanding of finance products and financial operations
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
Stakeholder & Business Skills:
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and leadership
Experience translating business requirements into system or process solutions
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in ERP implementation or transformation projects
Exposure to automation, RPA, or finance digital transformation initiatives
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or MBA (Finance)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
Postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage
