Agri-food tech startup Agrizy, founded in 2021 by Saket Chirania and Vicky Dodani, is dedicated to transforming the agrifood processing sector. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, Agrizy addresses the common challenges encountered by FPOs and MSME agrifood processors. Through Agrizy, the underutilized capacities of MSME agrifood processors are linked with the customized processing needs of major buyers in both domestic and global markets. Additionally, Agrizy assists these processors in sourcing raw materials from farm-gate aggregators and FPOs, standardizing their operations and processing facilities through technology, obtaining quality certifications, and enabling access to working capital from formal lenders at competitive rates.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager (CA) to lead the organization's finance, accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting functions. The role requires ownership of month-end and year-end financial closing, financial statement preparation, taxation, treasury, audits, budgeting, and compliance while ensuring robust financial controls and governance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent analytical skills, and extensive experience in managing end-to-end finance operations. The individual will work closely with senior leadership, auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulatory authorities to support business growth and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
Immediate joiners or candidates serving a notice period of up to 30 days will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Review monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.
- Oversee the finalization of books of accounts and preparation of standalone financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Review Trial Balance, General Ledger accounts, provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor and oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations across the organization.
- Ensure strong internal financial controls, governance, and compliance with company policies.
- Lead statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Manage all direct and indirect tax compliances, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, VAT, Professional Tax, ESIC, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with all regulatory authorities.
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and scrutiny proceedings while coordinating with tax consultants and government authorities.
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary on ROC filings, Companies Act compliances, board-related financial matters, and other statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking operations, and treasury functions.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial dashboards, management reports, and business performance analysis.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and strategic financial decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving automation, process improvements, and operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, statutory regulations, and best financial practices.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified.
- 10–15 years of post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, and Compliance.
- Strong expertise in month-end closing, financial reporting, and finalization of accounts.
- Hands-on experience in direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, VAT, and other statutory compliances.
- Proven experience in managing statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience coordinating with auditors, bankers, consultants, Company Secretary, and government authorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Qualified CA with experience in manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, agritech, or related industries.
- Proven experience leading finance and accounting teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 30 days will be preferred.
