Job Description
The Senior Helpdesk Executive - Transport is responsible for providing support and assistance to end-users in the transportation department. He/She will oversee the daily operations of the transport helpdesk team, ensuring that inquiries and issues related to transportation management systems and processes are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. The Senior Helpdesk Executive - Transport will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of helpdesk tickets, analyzing transportation helpdesk performance, and collaborating with other teams to optimize transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to end-users in the transportation department regarding transportation management systems, vehicle tracking systems, route optimization software, and other transportation-related applications.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to transportation systems, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
Escalate complex or critical issues to the Transportation Manager or relevant teams for resolution.
Oversee the activities of the transport helpdesk team, ensuring that transportation-related helpdesk tickets are addressed and resolved within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor and manage the transport helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of all support requests related to transportation operations.
Train new helpdesk team members on transportation systems and processes.
Collaborate with other teams such as logistics, fleet management, and operations to resolve complex transportation-related technical issues and promote knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends, industry best practices, and software updates in the transportation domain.
Prepare and present regular reports on transport helpdesk performance, including ticket resolution time, customer satisfaction, and common transportation issues reported.
Participate in transportation-related projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree.
Proven experience as a Helpdesk Executive or role in the transportation industry.
Strong knowledge of transportation management systems, vehicle tracking systems, and route optimization software.
Familiarity with transportation operations and processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
