Job Description

Engineering documentation (Mechanical)

• Responsible for Equipment qualification of New /Existing Equipment.
• New Equipment ID number allotting.
• Preparation /Revision of E&M SOP’s.
• Change control, Deviation processing.
• HVAC Validation protocols, Schedules, report preparation.
• Preparation of Schedules as per E&M SOP’s.
• Keeping track all equipment manuals, qualification and drawings.
• Pressure vessels and lifting tackles periodic Testing coordination.
• Coordinating quality and safety audits.
• Documentation of work order as prescribed.
• Verification and measurement certification of vendor bills as per ARC/Quotation.
• Ensuring completion of breakdown, planned jobs and cross verifying the same.
• Imparts SHE training to operators, helpers and contract worker.
• Report any incident /accident/near miss/illness to the supervisors.
• Responsible for entire E&M function as second line & act as HOD in the absence of HOD.
• Executing the jobs assigned by HOD (E&M).
• Participating in the internal Audits, customer & Regulatory Audits as per the schedule circulated by QA & EHS.
• Review & Revise Engineering sop’s as per current practices.
• Also responsible for the work of senior in absence of senior.
• Update the history records.
