Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• physical design implementation Engineer with detail understanding of floor planning, power grid, signoff, place and route, timing closure, physical verification checks.
• Responsible for planning and execution of all aspects of Physical Design, including Floor planning, Place and Route, Clock Tree Synthesis, IP integration, Extraction, and taking blocks to the closure.
• Responsible to achieve die area, performance, and power goals for hierarchical blocks and the top.
• Responsible for automation of manual processes and providing automation requirements for reducing manual steps in qualification
• Should have detailed knowledge and techniques to Resolve Congestion issue, DRC/Shorts, LEC issues, LVS issues, Timing issue
• The candidate should have a reasonable ability to automate design work by means of script programming, e.g. Tcl/tk, Perl or Python
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• The candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant working experience in Physical Design implementation
• Hands-on experience in physical design implementation and timing closureof large blocks/top
• Expert user of industry standard tools for physical design and signoff.
• In-depth knowledge of 28nm/16nm/12nm technologies and associatedphysical design challenges
• Deep understanding of low power design techniques and implementationmethodologies
• Should be self-motivated and take initiatives to drive new methodologies
• Should have strong written and verbal communication skills
