Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Global Engineering Center team to execute International and Local

projects in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-9 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have worked in an

EPC environment, international project experience.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical design experience on Water treatment plant and its associated system
  • Exposure to power supply arrangement and electrical System interface with various mechanical package (like Skid, Pumps,

Control panels and instruments).

  • Preparation of Data Sheet and Specifications - E House, MCC, Transformer, Motor, UPS System, etc.,
  • Knowledge and exposure to various Indian, IEC and ANSI Standards
  • Knowledge of power distribution systems, power system studies and protection requirement for the various equipment
  • Oversee the project’s conception, design and specifications and manage scheduling,
  • estimating, and securing materials.
  • Expertise and Software knowledge on Excel, Power system design, AUTOCAD, Lighting design Software.
  • Preparation of electrical deliverables like Single Line Diagram, Control Wiring and Schematic Drawings, Load List, Cable

Schedule.

  • Preparation of various electrical design calculations and equipment sizing calculations.
  • Knowledge in preparation of various layouts - Equipment layout, Cable routing layout, Lighting Layout and Earthing layout.
  • Knowledge in preparation of all procurement related activities like Material requisition, Preparation of Technical

Clarification, Technical Bid Evaluation and Purchase requisition.

  • Review and approval of Vendor drawing reviews.
  • Coordination and IDC clearance between Civil/Structural, Piping and Instrumentation discipline to complete the engineering

deliverables.

  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and progress assessments to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Knowledge in maintaining the Quality check list and quality procedures to maintain the project quality and ensure error

free design document.

  • Cost Estimation and Budget Management: Collaborate with the project team to prepare cost estimates for Electrical

components and equipment. Identify cost-saving opportunities where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Familiar with industrial standards like IS, IEC, IEEE, BS, ANSI, NEMA, DEP, etc.
  • Strong understanding of various Electrical components and equipment used in water treatment systems.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams
