For the First 2 Weeks you are required to be onsite every day to get acclimated to project and ability to ask questions. Starting the third week and there after you will be required to be onsite every Monday for meetings and work with team. WFH Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri.

CBTS is searching for a .NET Developer that will be responsible for modernizing a .NET 4.8 application and rewriting it to .NET 4.10 version. This role involves full-stack development, encompassing both backend logic and frontend user interfaces, with a strong emphasis on data management using SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.

Responsibilities:

• Modernize old .NET v4.8 software applications using the .NET Framework 4.10 and C#.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Build and enhance frontend user interfaces using relevant web technologies (e.g., ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, or potentially a JavaScript framework if specified).
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL Server databases, including writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Utilize Entity Framework Core for data access and object-relational mapping.
• Implement complex business logic using C# with proficiency in features like Lambda expressions.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing, including unit and integration tests, to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with a strong focus on the .NET Framework 4.10.
• Proficiency in C# programming language.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server database design, development, and optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with Entity Framework Core for data access.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Lambda expressions in C#.
• Experience with both backend and frontend development, including relevant frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with specific frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
