Senior Director - IT Infrastructure

Role Description

The Senior Director – IT Infrastructure is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad, responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role includes leading IT operations, managing networks, servers, and cloud environments, and ensuring system availability, performance, and scalability. The Senior Director will establish IT policies and standards, direct information security initiatives, and coordinate with leadership to align technology with business goals. Daily responsibilities involve supervising IT teams, prioritizing technical support activities, managing vendors and service providers, and monitoring risk, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness. The role also requires continuous improvement of infrastructure architecture, budgeting for IT resources, and fostering a secure, efficient, and user-focused technology environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong IT Operations and Information Technology skills, including experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Candidates should possess proven IT Management capabilities, with a track record of leading IT teams, strategic planning, and technology governance.
• Candidates should possess deep Network Security expertise, including policies, monitoring, incident response, and compliance with security standards.
• Candidates should possess robust Technical Support skills, overseeing helpdesk functions and ensuring timely resolution of user issues.
• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in senior IT leadership roles, preferably within service-oriented or consulting organizations.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture, virtualization, cloud platforms, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CCNP, PMP) are an advantage.
