Role Description


The Senior Director – Cybersecurity is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Abroad, responsible for establishing and overseeing the organization’s cybersecurity vision, strategy, and governance. This role will lead the design and implementation of security architectures across systems, applications, and networks that support the firm’s immigration and client data operations. The Senior Director will manage risk assessments, security audits, incident response processes, and compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding security operations teams, collaborating with technology and business stakeholders, defining security policies and standards, and ensuring secure development and deployment practices. The role also involves monitoring emerging threats, evaluating security tools and technologies, and providing regular executive-level reporting on cybersecurity posture and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with experience building and leading security programs at an organizational level.
  • Proficiency in Network Security, including secure network design, segmentation, monitoring, and threat detection.
  • Experience in Application Security, including secure software development practices, code review, and vulnerability management for client-facing platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability in Security Architecture Design, including creating end-to-end security frameworks and integrating security into IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Proven leadership experience in senior security roles, with the ability to mentor teams, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy and protection regulations relevant to immigration and client services, and experience maintaining compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly beneficial.
