Role Overview


We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Consultant who can independently own client relationships, diagnose business growth challenges, and architect multi-channel digital strategies that drive revenue. You'll act as the senior bridge between clients and internal teams - combining deep digital marketing expertise with consultative selling and account leadership to position Growth Hackers' solutions effectively, while also mentoring junior team members. This role suits professionals who have a proven track record in both digital strategy and client consulting, and are ready to own accounts end-to-end and grow into a Digital Strategy Lead or Account Director role.


Key Responsibilities


  • Client Prospecting & Account Ownership: Identify, engage, and own relationships with potential and existing clients across industries through research, outreach, and networking.


  • Consultative Selling: Diagnose client challenges, digital presence, and marketing objectives to propose tailored, high-impact growth solutions.


  • Digital Strategy Leadership: Design and recommend integrated digital marketing strategies (SEO, Paid Ads, Social Media, Content, Performance Marketing, etc.) aligned to business goals, and take ownership of strategic direction on key accounts.


  • Proposal & Pitching: Lead the preparation and delivery of customized digital marketing proposals, pitches, and presentations to senior client stakeholders.


  • Client Engagement: Run client meetings independently, translate requirements into strategic briefs, and ensure alignment between client objectives and campaign execution.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with performance, creative, and strategy teams to design effective campaign strategies, and guide/mentor junior strategists on consultative selling and account handling.


  • Revenue Growth & Account Expansion: Manage and convert leads through the sales funnel, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, and drive long-term client retention and satisfaction.


  • CRM, Reporting & Insights: Maintain CRM hygiene, track pipeline and account health, and present performance insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.


What We're Looking For


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.


  • Experience: 3–5 years in digital marketing, client consulting, or sales, with demonstrated ownership of client accounts (preferably within a digital marketing agency).


  • Sales Acumen: Strong command of the B2B sales cycle with a track record of selling and closing marketing services or digital solutions.


  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Deep working knowledge of performance marketing, paid ads, SEO, social media, and content marketing, with the ability to advise on channel mix at a strategic level.


  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English with polished presentation and stakeholder-management skills, including comfort presenting to senior client leadership.


  • Consultative Mindset: Ability to independently identify client pain points, structure solutions, and defend recommendations under client scrutiny.


  • Proactive & Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated, target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to grow accounts and mentor junior team members.


  • Tools: Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot, Bigin, etc.) and outreach platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc.).


Must-Have


  • Prior experience in a digital marketing agency, with direct client-facing ownership.


  • Strong working knowledge of marketing analytics and KPIs (CPL, ROAS, CTR, CAC, etc.), with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.


  • Hands-on exposure to AI-driven marketing tools or MarTech platforms.
