What You’ll Do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building, managing, and scaling the infrastructure that powers Athos Commerce products. You will work closely with engineering teams to automate deployments, improve system reliability, and streamline development workflows. This role focuses on building resilient cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, high-performing systems. You will also contribute to improving DevOps practices and mentoring engineers within the team.

How You Will Succeed

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration using Kubernetes
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance using observability tools
• Identify and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues proactively
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps processes and best practices
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance across environments
• Implement security and compliance best practices in cloud infrastructure
• Participate in incident response and on-call support when required
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
