Senior DevOps Engineer

Why we're hiring for this role: We’re rapidly expanding and in need of a Senior DevOps Engineer to develop and manage our cloud infrastructure capabilities. We're looking for someone who can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to elevate our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency to support our growing needs.

Key challenges you will work on every day:

• Building and managing an infrastructure with a heavy emphasis on being multi region
• Optimizing network topology for the best possible connectivity, latency and throughput for end users
• Creating and maintaining our delivery pipeline from the developer machines to production

Most of this applies to you:

• Deep understanding of AWS (EC2, Networking, RDS), ideally also some familiarity with Azure and GCP
• Expert understanding of Linux
• Solid scripting skills in Python
• Solid knowledge of private and public networking (VPN, ISPs, Firewalls)
• Proficiency in managing multi cluster container environments, preferably with Kubernetes
• Experience in building monitoring with valuable insights for operations, development and product
• Experience in building software delivery pipelines from PR to Deployment
• Preference for a solid understanding of immutable infrastructures and IaC tooling (Terraform)
• Anything you build can run in any environment from dev machines to public cloud and private data centers

Requirements:

• 5+ years relevant experience (DevOps/Cloud Engineering)
• Strong English and Hungarian communication skills
• Experience working in complex technical organization across global offices/locations in an Agile environment
• Experience working with startups and AI technologies is an advantage
