Job Responsibilities
Designation: Senior Design Engineer
Role Purpose
To provide technical guidance to the team members to deliver project specific outputs based on the work packages identified by team lead with expected level of quality and within acceptable timeframe.
Reporting to- Assistant Manager/ Manager
Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators
Timely and accurate delivery Working discipline. Components and sub assembly ownership.
Role Requirement
Educational Qualification:
BE / DME in Mechanical/production/automobile stream
No. of years of work experience: If BE then 8- 10 years If DME then 10-12 years

- Should be able to generate new concepts/master sections Should have hands on experience in complete system e.g. Door, closures etc.
Timely and accurate delivery Working discipline. Components and sub assembly ownership.

Critical Skill Sets
- Software proficiency Catia/ Unigraphics
- Basic Vehicle architecture (monocoque, space frame, cab-on-frame)
- Creation and understanding of master sections
- Joinery definitions and assembly sequence.

- Digital Mock Up (DMU)
