As a Microsoft consultant, you will deliver quality engagements with your expertise, either as an advisor, reviewer, contributor, or resource in high profile projects to ensure customer value. Consulting Delivery professionals bring subject matter and solution expertise to architectural teams, customers, and partners. Responsibilities

As a full Stack Infrastructure Consultant, design, build, and optimize endtoend cloud and onpremises infrastructure solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and highperforming environments across the entire technology stack.
Collaborate with the customer/partner team of Chief Information Officers (CIOs), other C-level executives, and technical and business decision-makers to align customer vision with solutions. Manages risk and Services business goals within engagements. 
Responsible for technical quality assurance, identification, and mitigation of technical risk across customer or partner deliverables delivery technology strategy aligned solutions
Applies technical experience and industry-specific knowledge to develop solutions, based on an analysis of how the proposed approach affects the business objectives of customers and partners. 
Applies information-compliance and assurance policies to ensure stakeholder confidence. 
Identifies new processes and innovations to help customers or partners build and accelerate capabilities by using Microsoft technologies. 
Identifies the best practice approach for a project, across a wide scope of technical issues, and develops or reuses intellectual capital with customers, world-wide, and for programs and initiatives across Microsoft. 
Defines engagements and opportunities to use Intellectual Property (IP) and address product gaps, while leveraging existing IP and community resources to ensure consistency and improve predictability. 
Drives new ways of thinking, across the division and subsidiary, to improve quality, engineering productivity, and responsiveness to feedback and changing priorities.

Qualifications

9+ years of overall IT industry experience with at least 5+ years of handson expertise in Azure Infrastructure architecture, design, and operations.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience; advanced technical certifications or higher education preferred.
Mandatory Microsoft Azure Administrator certification (AZ104); Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ305) highly preferred.
Terraform Associate certification strongly valued, with proven experience in InfrastructureasCode (IaC) automation.
Cloud AI certification such as Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI‑900) or equivalent is a strong advantage, with practical understanding of AI/ML workloads on cloud platforms.
Experience across both application architecture and cloud infrastructure domains, with the ability to bridge development and operations teams effectively.
Professional certifications in Delivery Management methodologies (Scrum, Agile, ITIL, Change/Project Management) considered a strong advantage.

Area of Expertise

AI First Infrastructure Skills

Proficiency in Python for automation, AI integration, and scripting across infra workflows
Experience with Azure AI Services (AI Foundry, AI Agent services, Azure AI Search, Vision, Speech, Translation,) leveraged as infrastructure components for applications
Understanding of containerized AI workloads with strong hands-on expertise in AI Developer Tools from Microsoft- Visual Studio, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Studio, Azure AI Foundry or similar third-party
Ability to integrate OpenAI/Frontier models into cloud environments with secure and scalable infrastructure patterns (from applied AI delivery examples)

Azure Cloud Strategy, Networking and DevOps

Cloud Strategy & Architecture

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and deploying Azure Landing Zones.
Deep understanding of cloud platform design principles and multi-cloud migration strategies.

Landing Zone and Networking

Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services across compute, storage, and networking.
Expertise in architecting and deploying business mission-critical applications on Azure.
In-depth knowledge of Azure networking components including VNet, ExpressRoute, vWAN, ingress/egress patterns, and Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs)

DevOps & Automation

Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including YAML-based pipeline configuration.
Experience with at least one CI/CD platform: GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins (working knowledge of others is a plus).
Strong automation skills using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
Experience deploying infrastructure using a modular, reusable approach.

Multi Cloud Migration & Modernization

Multi-Cloud Migration experience. Hands-on experience in AWS or GCP to Azure migration.
Experience leading large-scale cloud migration projects using tools like Azure Migrate.
Familiarity with all stages of the migration lifecycle, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
Experience with container migration and modernization initiatives.

Infrastructure Security and Zero Trust Practices

Strong command of network segmentation, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Private Link, VPN/ExpressRoute security, and Zero Trust networking.
Implement secure connectivity and encrypted network flows across hybrid and cloud environments.
Implement Azure Policy, Blueprints, governance guardrails, and secure by design patterns.
Experience in meeting compliance standards and performing cloud security assessments.
Design secure landing zones following CAF & WAF (Cloud Adoption Framework & Well‑Architected Framework) principles ensuring governance, resiliency, and secure adoption paths
Ensure alignment with industry frameworks like Zero Trust principles
