Position: Senior Civil Engineer — STP & Pipelines

Specialization: Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) & Internal / External Pipelines

Location: Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu (Trichy)

Experience: 6–12 Years

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Senior Civil Engineer specializing in STP construction and pipeline infrastructure for residential townships, commercial complexes, and industrial facilities in Tamil Nadu. The candidate will oversee civil and structural works related to water and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities

Execute civil works for Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), ETP, and WTP structures including RCC tank construction, equipment foundations, and pipe trenching.
Supervise internal and external pipeline networks — water supply, sewage, storm water drainage, fire-fighting, and utility lines.
Coordinate with MEP / plumbing consultants and electro-mechanical contractors for pipeline integration.
Ensure compliance with CPHEEO manual, IS standards, PCB norms, and environmental regulations.
Prepare and review construction drawings, BOQs, and shop drawings for STP / pipeline works.
Monitor quality of RCC works, waterproofing, joint sealing, and pressure testing of pipelines.
Manage commissioning, testing, and trial runs of STP units and pumping stations.
Maintain documentation: MBs, material tracking, NCR, and billing support.

Qualifications & Requirements

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering specialization preferred).
6–12 years of experience with minimum 3 years specifically on STP / pipeline projects in building / infrastructure sector.
Knowledge of STP technologies: SBR, MBBR, MBR, and conventional activated sludge systems.
Experience with HDPE, DI, GI, and PVC pipeline systems and their installation standards.
Familiarity with local body norms is mandatory.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and technical report writing.
