Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled? Computer Vision & Python Developer ?to join our dynamic team at? Stepping Edge . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining computer vision projects, building robust APIs, and managing deployment environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, high-performance solutions that integrate into production systems. The role involves end-to-end ownership of model training, testing, and deployment, with a focus on real-world applications of deep learning. You should have a strong foundation in Python development, an understanding of database management, and familiarity with containerization tools like Docker. Exposure to cloud environments, particularly? Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Design and implement? computer vision models ?using? YOLO ?and related frameworks for object detection and recognition tasks. Perform? custom model training , hyperparameter tuning, and accuracy evaluation to ensure optimal performance. Develop, test, and deploy? Python-based APIs ?to integrate with production environments. Manage? database relationships ?and ensure efficient data handling for model input/output operations. Utilize? Docker ?for application containerization, environment consistency, and basic deployment workflows. Collaborate with software, data, and DevOps teams to streamline development, integration, and deployment processes. (Optional) Leverage? Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ?services such as? Pub/Sub ?and? Cloud Storage ?for scalable data handling and model operations. Participate in? code reviews , maintain clean and efficient codebases, and contribute to technical documentation. ? Experience 3?5 years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision, Python based project development, and related technologies.
