Senior Analyst (CAT Modeling)

Responsibilities:

• Perform and analyse data trend analysis.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of catastrophic events and their potential impact on businesses and communities.
• Utilizing advanced analytics techniques to develop models and scenarios for assessing and predicting catastrophe risk.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assisting business units in the understanding of catastrophe risks, sensitivity studies & added analytics.
• Develop and support the relationship underwriters and the offshore modeling team.
• Providing real-time loss estimates of actual catastrophic events.
• Preparing individual property insurance data for catastrophe risk analysis.

Requirements:

• Skills in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, and some programming knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization and mapping tools is preferred.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical, economical and statistical concepts.
• Quantitative and analytical skills required.
• Ability to process and understand data quickly and creatively.
