Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Executive with expertise in Upwork bidding to generate quality leads and drive business growth for our IT services. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Upwork, excellent client communication skills, and a proven track record of closing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork.
  • Write customized and persuasive proposals based on client requirements.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Communicate with international clients to understand project requirements.
  • Conduct requirement gathering and coordinate with the technical team for estimations.
  • Negotiate pricing, timelines, and project scope with clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Follow up with prospects and manage the complete sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, and client interactions.
  • Achieve monthly revenue and business acquisition targets.
  • Stay updated with Upwork trends, market insights, and competitor activities.
Required Skills:
  • 3–6 years of experience in Upwork bidding and IT business development.
  • Strong knowledge of Upwork algorithms, connects strategy, and proposal writing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience selling IT services such as Web Development, Mobile Apps, AI/ML, UI/UX, QA, Digital Marketing, or Staff Augmentation.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with international clients (US, UK, Australia, Canada, Europe).
  • Strong closing and account management skills.
