Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Business Development Associate based in Gurugram. The role involves identifying and qualifying prospective learners, driving lead generation campaigns, and conducting market research to understand trends and opportunities in the EdTech and higher education space. The Senior Business Development Associate will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including outreach, counseling prospective students, delivering presentations about partner programs, and closing enrollments in coordination with internal teams. The position also requires maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, preparing reports on pipeline and performance, and collaborating with marketing, academic, and operations teams to optimize conversion strategies. The role demands consistent follow-ups, relationship-building with prospects and partners, and a focus on meeting and exceeding individual and team targets.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and be comfortable creating and delivering impactful Presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Candidates should possess proven Lead Generation capabilities, including prospecting, follow-up, and pipeline management.
  • Candidates should possess solid Market Research skills to analyze competition, learner needs, and industry trends.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain programs clearly and build trust.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or counseling in EdTech, education, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work with targets, use CRM or sales tools effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relationship-management skills, proactive problem-solving, and a learner-centric mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
