Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and documenting requirements, including business, functional and non-functional for simple and complex efforts. The Senior Business Analyst develops customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g., wireframes, use cases, business rules, etc.).

Experience Band: 7+ Years

Essential Job Duties:

• Facilitate and elicit customer business requirements.
• Implement relevant aspects of customer requirements through system configuration.
• Perform and support testing and/or training efforts.
• Participate in system design and configuration activities.
• Partner with customers, technical staff, and management to ensure effective coordination and execution.
• Communicate with third-party vendors and/or partners to address questions, issues, or requests.
• Assist in the estimation of work.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry developments and best practices through relevant publications and resources.
• Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
• Seven (7) plus years’ experience in business analysis or related field
• Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience
• ConceptOne and/or other MGA Policy Administrative systems experience
• SQL queries and data analysis experience
• Understanding or experience with Relational Databases
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
• Effective time management, including planning, prioritization, and organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities or tasks
