About the opportunity -

This role is about category creation from scratch. You’ll lead the brand and business growth of Licious’ Ready-to-Cook and Heat & Eat portfolio — solving for discovery, relevance, trial, and loyalty. You must think like a business owner, a storyteller, and a challenger brand marketer — all rolled into one.

What makes the role meaty?

• Answering the no.1 question - Why should a consumer buy Licious’ VA products?
• Building sharp, insight-led propositions for VA that answer real consumer jobs and beat the competition.
• Solving for low awareness and habit by building multi-channel education + trial engines
• Owning category health metrics: new user contribution, attach rate, repeat rate
• Building campaigns (performance + brand) for adoption: from digital ATL to content to reels to recipe cards
• Shaping packaging, product naming, and in-app merchandising in partnership with product/design
• Owning cross-functional growth plans with Category, Growth, Insights, and Creative

We hope that you..

• Have 7-8 years in brand/category marketing or innovation roles
• Excel in new category creation — can build demand from scratch and iterate fast
• Have strong understanding of Indian cooking culture, convenience triggers, and premium vs mass trade-offs
• Have shipped 0-to-1 campaigns or launches and owned the outcome
