Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer proficient in GoLang and Python to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs that power our products, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using GoLang and Python.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure the security, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems.
Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and knowledge sharing with team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our tech stack and architecture.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in backend software development.
Strong proficiency in GoLang and Python, with a solid understanding of their ecosystems.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
Familiarity with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills, code quality awareness, and debugging abilities.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems (Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in performance optimization and scaling high-traffic applications.
Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and event-driven architectures.
Understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and design principles (SOLID, DRY, etc.).
Experience in mentoring and leading junior engineers.
