Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world use cases including optimization, simulation, and machine learning.
- Implement and test quantum circuits using leading frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, Braket, or PennyLane.
- Collaborate with research teams to translate complex quantum computing concepts into practical solutions.
- Conduct experiments on quantum simulators and real quantum hardware to validate algorithm performance.
- Analyze computational complexity and evaluate quantum advantage over classical approaches.
- Contribute to the development of hybrid quantum-classical workflows and variational algorithms.
- Research emerging techniques in quantum error correction, noise mitigation, and circuit optimization.
- Document technical findings and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current with advancements in quantum computing research, tools, and hardware platforms.
- Mentor junior researchers or associates and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- 3-9 years of professional or research experience in quantum computing, quantum information science, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity.
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with scientific computing libraries (NumPy, SciPy, etc.).
- Experience designing or implementing quantum algorithms such as Grover's search, Shor's algorithm, QAOA, or VQE.
- Familiarity with quantum hardware architectures, superconducting qubits, trapped ions, or photonic systems.
- Experience with quantum simulation tools and noise modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Physics, Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience working with cloud-based quantum platforms such as IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, or Azure Quantum.
- Knowledge of quantum cryptography, quantum machine learning, or quantum optimization.
- Contributions to research publications, open-source quantum projects, or academic collaborations.
