Position: Senior Associate - Community Management
Overview:
Zingbus is looking for a Senior Executive - Community Management (South) to build and
scale zingbus’s community i.e zingfluencer presence across southern markets. This role will focus on
engaging with customers and local audiences through online communities, on-ground activations,
creator networks, and campus/travel groups, building long-term trust and brand love.
What you will do:
Community growth (south)
- Build zingfluencer community in key southern cities (Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore) through
both online and offline initiatives
- Create community engagement plans for students, working professionals, and frequent intercity
travelers
- Identify local micro-communities (college groups, travel clubs, city pages, commuter circles)
Engagement and relationship building
Actively engage with users across community channels (social comments, groups, travel
communities, local forums)
Build relationships with local admins/moderators, creators, and community leaders
Turn engaged members into repeat travelers and advocates
Influencer + micro-creator coordination
Identify and onboard micro-creators and community influencers in the south
Execute simple, repeatable campaigns (rides, events, city meetups, UGC drives)
Support creator coordination for shoots, briefs, and content timelines
On-ground community activations
- Execute meetups, bus experiences, campus stalls, and city-level brand engagements
- Manage logistics, collateral, on-ground coordination, and post-activation follow ups
- Support regional launch activities for high priority routes
Feedback loop and insights
- Capture community feedback on routes, service experience, expectations, and issues
- Share insights with ops/product/marketing to improve service and reduce friction points
- Track recurring questions and convert them into helpful community content
Reporting
- Track community growth metrics: active members, engagement rate, UGC volume, creator
output, and referral outcomes
- Maintain monthly summary reports with learnings + next month's action plan
What we are looking for:
Experience
- 1-2 years in community management, partnerships, social engagement, or regional marketing
- Experience handling on-ground activations and creator/community coordination is a strong plus
Skills
- Strong communication and people skills; quick, thoughtful responses
- Execution-first mindset with strong ownership
- Good understanding of the South market culture and digital behaviour
- Comfortable working weekends/evenings when community activations require
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
