Job Description

Role: Head of Ecommerce- Domestic

 

Imagimake is one of India’s fastest-growing toy and play brands, winning across marketplaces, quick commerce, and modern digital-first channels. We’re looking for a Head – Domestic E-commerce who can scale revenue while building a strong foundation of profitability, content excellence, and channel-ready launches.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-speed environment and can drive growth across Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, Q-Commerce, and D2C, with sharp execution and strong cross-functional leadership.

.What’s in store:

 

Own Revenue Growth Across India E-commerce

·      Lead topline growth across marketplaces and emerging platforms.

·      Build channel plans, monthly targets, and event-led growth strategy (Prime Day, Big Billion Days, festive peaks).

·      Drive traffic, conversion, AOV, and repeat through platform-native levers.

Launch Excellence & Scale-up

·      Own launch readiness checklist: listings, A+ content, images, video, keywords, reviews plan, pricing.

·      Partner with Category + Product + Supply Chain to ensure in-stock readiness and forecast accuracy.

·      Drive “winner replication” playbooks for scaling hero SKUs.

Content & Creative Readiness

·      Work with Creative/Content teams to ensure best-in-class product storytelling for ecommerce.

·      Maintain high content hygiene: title, bullets, keywords, backend search terms, storefronts, bundles.

·      Build differentiated gifting + learning narratives for India consumers.

Quick Commerce Acceleration

·      Scale Q-Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, etc.) with the right assortment, price packs, and visibility plans.

·      Build promo calendars, top-city strategies, and in-app discovery levers.

·      Track fill rates, OSA, and assortment productivity by platform.

Marketplace Operations & Platform Relationships

·      Own account management, catalog health, returns/refunds, and platform escalations.

·      Build strong relationships with platform category teams for visibility and growth opportunities.

·      Ensure compliance with platform policies and operational SOPs.

Contribution Margin & P&L Discipline

·      Own CM2 for ecommerce channels: discounting, ads efficiency (TACoS/ACoS), logistics cost control.

·      Drive profitable growth through mix improvement and pricing discipline.

·      Build weekly dashboards for revenue, margin, inventory, and campaign performance.

Team & Cross-functional Leadership

·      Lead ecommerce managers, KAMs, and operations teams with clear KRAs.

·      Align with Performance Marketing, Category, Finance, and Supply Chain on one business plan.

What Success looks like:

·      Domestic ecommerce becomes a scalable growth engine with strong YoY momentum.

·      Imagimake becomes a No.1 or No.2 brand across platforms in sub-categories where it is present

·      Top SKUs consistently rank in the top of their sub-categories, with strong conversion and review velocity.

·      Q-Commerce becomes a meaningful incremental channel with repeatable unit economics.

·      Contribution margins improve through better pricing, mix, and ad efficiency.

What makes a great fit:

·      8–12+ years of ecommerce leadership experience (marketplaces + Q-Com preferred).

·      Strong understanding of Marketplace / Q-commerce growth levers, listing excellence, and performance drivers.

·      Deep comfort with numbers: CAC, TACoS, CM2, inventory turns, forecast planning.

·      Strong people leadership + cross-functional execution mindset.

·      High ownership and bias for action.
