Job Description
The Senior Analyst – Business Support- Quality Assurance supports quality execution and continuous improvement across Walmart Claims Services (WCS). The role is responsible for completing claim quality reviews, quality measurement, and reporting while helping leaders understand drivers behind claim quality, reserve adequacy, and operational outcomes. This position partners closely with claims leadership, underwriting, actuarial, internal audit, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to strengthen alignment, transparency, and quality across the claims ecosystem.
About the team:The Claims Center of Excellence (CoE) Quality team drives quality assurance, governance, and continuous improvement across Walmart Claims Services. The team partners with internal and external stakeholders to enhance claim handling practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver insights that improve operational outcomes.
What You’ll Do:Perform quality claim reviews, identify trends, risks, and reserve adequacy insights, and translate findings into actionable themes.
Partner with claims leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to communicate quality results and support improvement initiatives.
Lead end-to-end review processes including planning, file selection, execution oversight, and reporting.
Support development of structured workflows, dashboards, and training to strengthen quality review effectiveness.
Ensure regulatory compliance, risk controls, and audit-ready governance across claim portfolios.
What You’ll bring:Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5–7 years of experience in claims processing or insurance operations, with knowledge of claims handling practices.
Experience working with carrier and/or third-party administrator (TPA) environments.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and data-driven reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
