Senior AI/ML Scientist – Healthcare & Clinical Analytics


Location: Gurugram | Hyderabad | Bangalore | Pune | Navi Mumbai | Mohali | Panchkula

Work Model: Onsite (5 Days Working from Office)

Shift Timing: US Business Hours / Night Shift (Starting around 6:30 PM IST)

Compensation: Up to ₹32 LPA


About the Role

We are hiring experienced Data Science professionals with strong exposure to healthcare and clinical research analytics to work on advanced AI/ML initiatives supporting global pharmaceutical programs.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience working with clinical or biomedical datasets and enjoy solving complex business problems using machine learning, statistical modeling, and large-scale data engineering techniques.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning solutions for healthcare and life sciences use cases.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured clinical datasets to generate actionable insights for research and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical operations, biostatistics, medical affairs, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop predictive models, statistical frameworks, and scalable analytical pipelines for real-world healthcare applications.
  • Perform exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model validation, and performance optimization on high-volume datasets.
  • Work with cloud-based or distributed data platforms to build efficient and reproducible workflows.
  • Translate technical findings into meaningful business recommendations through dashboards, storytelling, and visualization.
  • Ensure analytical outputs align with quality, compliance, and industry data governance standards.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives within healthcare AI, clinical intelligence, and advanced analytics programs.


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics within Pharma, Healthcare, Clinical Research, Medical Devices, or Bio-Pharma domains.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and healthcare-focused ML applications.
  • Experience handling clinical trial, patient, treatment, or healthcare-related datasets in regulated environments.
  • Exposure to distributed computing, cloud analytics platforms, or big data ecosystems such as Spark/Fabric environments is highly preferred.
  • Ability to independently drive analytical projects and work in ambiguous problem-solving environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience supporting US-based pharmaceutical or healthcare clients.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, Dermatology, or related specialties.
  • Experience with longitudinal analysis, survival models, explainable AI, or healthcare visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard clinical data structures and healthcare analytics workflows
