Role Description

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to take full ownership of our AI platform, spanning architecture, development, deployment, and continuous optimization. This role involves building and leading production systems powered by large language models, designing agentic workflows, and driving how AI capabilities scale across the organization. This is a high-impact, technically deep position that demands equal strength in strategic system design and hands-on engineering execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build LLM-powered applications using modern orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, and Semantic Kernel
• Integrate and benchmark multiple LLM providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral — optimizing for accuracy, latency, and cost
• Architect end-to-end retrieval pipelines: data ingestion, chunking strategies, embeddings, hybrid search, and reranking
• Work with vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, and FAISS to power high-accuracy, low-latency retrieval
• Architect multi-agent workflows with advanced reasoning, planning, tool use, and memory management
• Implement both human-in-the-loop and fully autonomous execution modes
• Evaluate and adopt emerging protocols such as MCP and A2A
• Build systems to extract and process structured and unstructured content from PDFs, scanned documents, and images
• Integrate OCR engines - Tesseract, AWS Textract, Azure Form Recognizer, Google Document AI with LLM post-processing for validation and contextual enrichment
• Design high-accuracy pipelines for data extraction, classification, and normalization
• Establish LLMOps and AgentOps practices including monitoring (LangSmith, Langfuse), caching, cost optimization, and CI/CD pipelines
• Build multimodal capabilities across text, image, audio, and video modalities
• Implement robust guardrails, safety mechanisms, bias mitigation, and evaluation frameworks (LLM-as-Judge, custom test harnesses)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML systems in production environments
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering LLM-powered applications at scale
• Prior experience in a technical lead or people management capacity is strongly preferred
• Deep proficiency in Python and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Practical knowledge of agentic system design including tool use, memory management, and multi-agent workflows
• Strong problem-solving ability with a bias for pragmatic, scalable solutions
• Effective communicator capable of translating complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven with the ability to operate independently in a high-ownership environment
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional teams
