Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive – Banking & Treasury

Location: Navi Mumbai

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager


Role Overview

The Senior Accounts Executive – Banking & Treasury will be responsible for managing day-to-day banking operations, cash flow planning, treasury functions, and supporting financial controls. The role requires strong coordination with banks, internal stakeholders, and auditors.


Key Responsibilities

Banking Operations

  • Manage daily banking transactions, including payments, receipts, and fund transfers
  • Handle bank reconciliations on a regular basis
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and coordinate for documentation and compliance
  • Monitor bank balances and ensure optimal fund utilization

Treasury Management

  • Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts (short-term and long-term)
  • Optimize working capital and liquidity management
  • Execute fund planning, inter-account transfers, and investment tracking
  • Monitor borrowing limits, interest costs, and repayment schedules

Payments & Compliance

  • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, payroll, statutory dues, and loan repayments
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies
  • Coordinate with auditors for treasury-related queries and documentation
  • Maintain proper records for all banking and treasury transactions

Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparation of MIS reports related to cash flow, bank positions, and treasury performance
  • Track and report variances in cash flow projections
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments for payment planning and approvals
  • Work closely with finance team for budgeting and forecasting activities


Key Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
  • B.com / M Com CA (Inter)/ CMA (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience

  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in banking, treasury, or finance functions
  • Experience in corporate treasury or large organization preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of banking operations and treasury functions
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Tally etc.)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in handling multiple bank accounts and high transaction volumes
  • Knowledge of working capital management and financial instruments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
