Role Description:

The Finance Specialist will be responsible for driving financial planning, profitability analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and SKU-level financial performance across UrbanGabru's personal care and beauty portfolio. The role will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Product teams to ensure financial discipline and support strategic business decisions.

Role & Responsibilties:

• Own and monitor the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring profitability across brands and product categories.
• Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts, working capital, and liquidity planning.
• Conduct SKU-wise profitability analysis, including gross margins, contribution margins, pricing, and cost optimization.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial planning exercises.
• Track actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations.
• Develop financial models for new product launches, pricing strategies, and business expansion.
• Monitor inventory valuation, procurement costs, and manufacturing expenses to improve margins.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency and drive business profitability.
• Support strategic decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, internal policies, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications:

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, or Business Finance.
• Prior experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Beauty, Cosmetics, Consumer Goods, or D2C brands is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of P&L Management, Cash Flow, Budgeting, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Experience in SKU-level profitability analysis and pricing.
• Knowledge of inventory costing, manufacturing costs, and gross margin analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Financial Models).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or Zoho Books is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
