Senior Accountant

Our Full-Time Engagement Professional Practice (FTEP) group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across industries while contributing your expertise to complex accounting projects and driving success for our practice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for various client engagements
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support audit processes and coordinate with client and external auditors as needed
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for client assignments
• Mentor and review work of junior accounting professionals on client projects
• Utilize industry-standard accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, QuickBooks, and PowerBI) for accurate reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with diverse clients, adapting to a variety of accounting environments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public accounting or multi-client engagement
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting and accounting systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and client requirements

The salary range for this position is $75k to $85k. Benefits are available including medical, vision, and dental, and life and disability insurance.
