We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with 10–11 years of relevant post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have a good command of US GAAP and IFRS
This role requires excellent communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration with global teams and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Month-End Close:
- Monthly / quarterly / annual billing to clients in France, ensuring revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 and local French GAAP, with clear understanding of SaaS revenue and license revenue accounting.
- Perform / supervise monthly close activities for EMEA entities and certain Asia Pac entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness basis global calendar, month over month variation analysis.
- Perform ASC 842 lease accounting journal entries for entities including in the scope of responsibility.
- Review bonus accruals across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA and certain Asia Pac entities.
- Appropriate accounting of stock compensation push down expense and taxability in the hands of employees.
- Take lead in corporate tax return preparation and statutory filings for EMEA and certain Asia Pac entities.
- Review VAT compliances, including ensuring making timely and accurate payments.
- Coordinate with accounting firm and internal teams for statutory audits in India, UK, Ireland, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
- Liaise with banks for account operations, fund transfers, and prepaid card management (e.g., Happay cards for admin teams).
- Act as a liaison between finance, legal, and global operations teams.
- Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
- CA with 8–10 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software. Netsuite is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-starter with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Basic knowledge of French language will be an added advantage
