Location:

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Qualification: CA Inter / CMA Inter

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage overall accounting and compliance for our fast-growing retail business. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST, along with experience in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and other statutory compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and ISD returns.

Monthly 2B reconciliation with books of accounts and vendor follow-up for mismatches.

Handling Input Tax Credit (ITC) verification and reconciliations.

Preparation & Reconciliation of E- way Bills

Managing TDS, advance tax, and other statutory payments & filings.

Coordination with internal auditors for GST and statutory audits.

General Accounting Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy in day-to-day accounting entries and ledger scrutiny.

Maintain accounts payable, Expense tracking , and Bank/Card reconciliations.

Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Monitor store-level expense & ensure strict adherence to company policy

Ensure compliance with statutory laws, including income tax, GST, PF, ESI, and other filings.

Liaise with consultants, other departments, and management for smooth operations.

Requirements

Skills & Attributes:

In-depth knowledge of GST laws and reconciliation procedures.

Sound understanding of accounting principles and standards.

Hands-on experience in Zoho Books / ERP systems.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and report preparation.

Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to handle multi-location retail operations.
