Position Overview

The Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivables will be responsible for handling daily billing operations, maintaining receivable records, and supporting collection processes. The role requires high accuracy in invoicing, strong coordination with internal departments, and efficient tracking of outstanding payments.

The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of billing processes, accounting systems, and receivable tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing Operations
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Ensure accurate GST-compliant billing for all transactions.
• Verify sales orders, dispatch documents, and billing details.
• Receivable Tracking
• Maintain updated records of customer receivables and aging reports.
• Track pending payments and support the collection team in follow-ups.
• Ensure timely posting of receipts and adjustments.
• Customer Reconciliation
• Conduct regular customer account reconciliation.
• Identify discrepancies in billing or payments and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain proper documentation of adjustments and settlements.
• E-Commerce & Distributor Billing
• Handle invoicing and reconciliation for distributors, retailers, and e-commerce platforms.
• Track settlement cycles and ensure proper accounting of deductions and claims.
• Accounting System Management
• Record transactions accurately in Tally or ERP systems.
• Assist in maintaining accounting records in Zoho, SAP, or similar tools.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and financial reviews.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

Commerce Graduate (B.Com)

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable functions
• Experience in FMCG, retail distribution, or e-commerce industries preferred.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Tally and invoicing
• Working knowledge of Zoho, SAP, or other accounting tools
• Good understanding of GST billing processes
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and reconciliation
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Detail-oriented and highly disciplined in financial record keeping
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Flexible with office timings and operational requirements
• Proactive and aggressive in follow-ups for receivable collections
