We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join us for a 1 month contract


Responsibilities

  • Create game-ready 3D vehicle and character models optimized for real-time Unity performance
  • Produce multi-LOD meshes hitting specific polygon budgets per level
  • Rig and skin assets to a fixed, prescribed bone hierarchy — exact naming must be followed
  • Deliver clean UV layouts with proper island allocation and UV wireframe PNGs per asset
  • Develop and deliver textures (albedo, normal, roughness) as separate files with correct colour space
  • Export FBX assets with clean topology, metric scale, no embedded textures or animations
  • Validate assets in Unity (rig, weights, LOD groups, material slots) and troubleshoot import issues


Requirements

  • Proven experience in game-ready 3D modeling with a shipped Unity portfolio
  • Proficiency in Blender 4.x, Maya, or 3ds Max with a clean FBX export pipeline
  • Substance Painter for texture baking and delivery
  • Strong understanding of Unity's Generic rig system — Humanoid experience alone is not sufficient
  • Ability to follow a strict written technical spec without modifying bone names, hierarchy, or structure
  • No animation authoring required — clean bind pose delivery only
  • Solid UV unwrapping, map baking, and polygon budgeting skills
  • Correct Linear vs sRGB colour space discipline per map type — non-negotiable
  • Able to manage high-volume deliverables (20+ texture sets) with strict naming conventions
