Security Operations Manager - FinTech - SIEM, SecOps, SOC

Oliver Bernard are currently working with a fast growing FinTech company based in Manchester, who are looking to take on a Security Operations Manager as part of plans to scale their Security practices, with a particular emphasis on driving the strategy around their SIEM solutions.

The incoming profile will need to have a strong balance of hands-on security experience (across SIEM, EDR, SOC etc) whilst being comfortable driving and shaping a security strategy, leading others from the front, and managing a small tight-knit team of 3-4 other engineers.

To be a suitable fit for this opening, the following experience is required:

• At least 5 years within Security / Cyber focused positions
• Prior experience in a SecOps capacity
• Capable shaping SIEM solutions (ideally with hands-on Google Chronicle experience, but Sentinel, Splunk, and equivalents will be considered)
• Strong history working across Monitoring, Alerting and Triaging
• Have experience in a Management capacity, managing a team of engineers day to day, responsible for career building etc

This is a hybrid opening, with 3 office days p/week in Manchester, and can offer £70-75K for the right profile (plus benefits).
