As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support loss prevention efforts. You will greet customers and associates with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests and store teams by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, back-of-house areas, entrances, loading areas and the exterior perimeter as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential policy violations such as shoplifting indicators, disorderly conduct and unauthorized access, helping to deter incidents through presence and communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, contacting emergency services when needed and/or escalating to site leadership per post orders.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document observations during patrols and communicate relevant information to on-site teams and Allied Universal supervision.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
