We specialise in Security, Threat and Risk Assessments, Security Strategies, Policies and Standard Operating Procedures, that align with each project.

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Security Consultant to join our team in Kochi, India. We're looking for a security consultant who will provide services across a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, architects, engineers, planners, developers, and contractors to protect assets and deliver robust built environments as well as operational security solutions that meet regulatory requirements and enhance the security & resilience of developments and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Design Confidence’s Security & Resilience team with clients and stakeholders.
• Deliver and support the development of Security, Threat, and Risk Assessments, Security Strategies, and security site surveys of existing facilities.
• Monitor and update the evolving threats across the Middle East relevant to the environment.
• Understanding of physical security principles, such as CPTED, layered security, and the Four Ds.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify security risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project specifications.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in security and risk management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in physical security and/or security in the built environment.
• Professional certifications such as ASIS APP are recommended.
• Proficiency in engineering tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ACC, Revit)
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Experience of working on Middle East projects.
